Tony Macaulay

Tony is the author of four best-selling books – Paperboy, Breadboy, All Growed Up  and Little House on The Peace Line. These memories reflect his experience growing up during the Troubles in Belfast and include much of his youth on the Shankill Road and his days at BRA. In addition to his writing, Tony has spent more than 30 years working for peace in Northern Ireland and abroad. Today he works as a leadership consultant to global organizations and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio.

In 2019 Tony was awarded an honorary Doctor of Letters (DLitt) by the University of Ulster for “services to literature and peace building at home and abroad.”
